Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how 1Gesture Platform Ltd (“1Gesture”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use our website and services.
It explains:
- what cookies are;
- which cookies we use;
- why we use them;
- how long they remain on your device; and
- how you can control them.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies help websites remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, whether you are signed in, and how you use the website.
Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (“session cookies”), while others remain on your device for a period of time (“persistent cookies”).
3. The cookies we use
1Gesture uses only a small number of cookies and similar technologies.
We categorise them as follows:
- Essential Cookies
- Functional Cookies
- Analytics Cookies (only with your consent)
- Advertising Cookies (only with your separate consent)
We do not use:
- advertising cookies from any company other than Meta, and Meta's only if you switch them on;
- device fingerprinting.
4. Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the operation and security of the Service.
They enable functions such as:
- maintaining your login session;
- protecting against malicious requests;
- remembering security settings;
- balancing traffic across our infrastructure; and
- ensuring the Service operates correctly.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary, they cannot be switched off through our cookie banner.
5. Functional Cookies
Functional cookies remember choices you make, such as:
- language preferences;
- cookie preferences;
- user interface settings; and
- other optional features that improve your experience.
Where these cookies are strictly necessary to provide the functionality you request, they are treated as essential. Otherwise, they will only be set after your consent.
6. Analytics Cookies
With your consent, 1Gesture uses first-party analytics to understand how the Service is used and how it can be improved.
Separately, we count visits to our site without cookies and without identifying you: the page, the site you came from, any campaign tags in the link, and your country. Nothing is stored in your browser for this, so it does not depend on your cookie choice. Our Privacy Policy explains it.
Analytics is collected within our own infrastructure (Supabase) and, with your consent, sent directly from your browser to PostHog (EU Cloud), our analytics provider; we also forward a server-side copy there.
With your consent we also use HubSpot (USA), where we keep our customer records. It records the pages you view on this site. If you are already one of our contacts (because you hold an account with us, or because we sent you a personal link), those page views are linked to your record. Page views by anyone we hold no record for stay unnamed, and PostHog analytics is never linked to you in this way.
With your consent we also use Google Analytics (Google, USA) to see how many people visit each page and where they came from. Before anything is sent to Google, we remove private details from the page address: any private code or name in a link we sent you, and everything after the “?” except campaign tags. Google Analytics here is set up for analytics only: it is not used for advertising, and Google’s advertising features are switched off.
Analytics cookies and similar storage may record:
- a random anonymous identifier;
- session identifier;
- pages viewed;
- button clicks;
- how videos are watched (play, pause, skips, how far through);
- masked session replays, recordings of how a page is used with all text, typing and form entries hidden;
- first-touch referral information: the campaign tags on the link that first brought you here, such as which of our adverts it was, kept for 30 days;
- browser family;
- approximate device type;
- Core Web Vitals; and
- approximate country.
We never use analytics for advertising, behavioural profiling or cross-site tracking. Advertising has its own, separate switch, described in section 7.
Analytics cookies and storage are only set after you have provided your consent.
7. Advertising Cookies
If you switch on Advertising in our cookie banner, we use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA), the company behind Facebook and Instagram. This is a separate choice from analytics: saying yes to analytics does not switch it on, and it is off until you turn it on.
We use it to measure whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram work, and to show those adverts to people likely to find them useful. When it is on:
- your browser tells Meta which of our public pages you viewed, along with the technical details a browser always sends (your IP address and browser type);
- Meta sets cookies that recognise your browser, and record that you arrived by clicking one of our adverts if you did; and
- if you then buy a plan, our server tells Meta that a purchase happened, its value and currency, and your email address in a scrambled (hashed) form Meta can match against its own accounts but cannot read back, together with the Meta cookies above.
Meta can link this to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one, and uses it for its own purposes as well as ours, under its own privacy policy. For that use Meta and 1Gesture are joint controllers of the data collected by the Pixel. The Meta Pixel is never loaded inside your signed-in 1Gesture account, or on pages reached through a personal link.
If you switch Advertising off, we stop loading the Meta Pixel, delete the Meta cookies listed below from your browser, and stop reporting your purchases to Meta.
