How do I get people to show up to my online meetings?
Your meeting reminder is the last thing your guest reads before they decide whether to turn up. Most reminders say the time and the link, and nothing else. 1Gesture sends that reminder for you, and it invites your guest to choose an act of kindness that you fund and a vetted good cause delivers.
Why do people skip online meetings?
Because nothing is lost by skipping one. You used to travel to your clients, and the effort told them they mattered. They felt it. Now calls are a click apart, the diary fills with squares that all look the same, and the easiest square to drop is the one with nothing human in it.
Your reminder is the last thing they read before they decide. It usually says the time and the link.
What is a 1Gesture meeting reminder?
A 1Gesture meeting reminder is the reminder you already send, with one thing added: an invitation for your guest to choose an act of kindness that you fund. Clean water. A school meal. Plastic pulled off a coastline. They tap one. A vetted good cause delivers it.
No login. No account. One tap and they are done.
How does it work?
Three steps, and you do one of them.
- You book the meeting. Nothing changes here. Your meetings go in your calendar as normal. 1Gesture connects to Google and Microsoft calendars.
- 1Gesture sends the reminder. It goes from your own connected email account, not from a 1Gesture address, and it invites your guest to choose their Gesture.
- Your guest chooses. One tap, no login. Their choice is funded and passed to the Gesture Partner that delivers it.
What does your guest see?
A reminder from you, in your name, from your inbox, asking them to choose between three real outcomes. Not a form. Not a survey. Not a sign-up.
They pick one. That is the whole interaction.
Does the reminder come from me, or from an app?
From you. The reminder is sent from your own connected email account, so it arrives in your name, from the address your client already knows. That matters when you are putting something in front of a client you have spent two years earning.
What happens before the meeting starts?
You get an email telling you which cause your guest chose.
So you walk into the call already knowing something human about the person on the other side of it. Not their job title. Not their company size. What they picked when someone asked them to choose.
What does a Gesture buy?
Every Gesture is a specific outcome, delivered by a named Gesture Partner. Each Partner confirmed its figure in writing.
| 1 Gesture buys | Delivered by |
|---|---|
| 5 school meals for a hungry child | Mary's Meals |
| 6 days of clean drinking water for a family | charity: water |
| 25 plastic bottles removed from coastal areas | Plastic Bank |
Who delivers the Gestures?
Three named Gesture Partners, each with a signed agreement with 1Gesture. There is no open directory and no self-listing. The moment your guest chooses, the delivering Partner is contractually notified and the funds are allocated to that Gesture. The evidence lands in your dashboard.

What does it cost?
$1 per Gesture, and the price will never move. You buy Gestures up front, from $20, in batches of 20 to 5,000, and they sit in your account. Everyone in your team draws from the same account.
- Unlimited seats. One shared account. No per-seat fee.
- No monthly subscription.
- A Gesture is only used when your guest chooses one. No engagement, no cost.
- Unused Gestures expire after 12 months. Auto top-up refills your account from your saved card, and you can change the level or switch it off at any time.
- Setting up takes about 30 seconds. We have timed it with people outside our team.
Why does your guest choose, and not you?
Because the choice is the point.
You could send the money yourself and say nothing. Nobody would feel anything. Being asked to choose is a small moment of being treated as a person with a view, in the middle of a working day made of squares in a diary. That is what your guest remembers, and it is why this is not a gift.
What do you see afterwards?
Your dashboard shows every choice, what you have spent, the delivery evidence and an export for your board or your stakeholders. Your public Company Impact page is on by default, and you can switch it off.
What we record about your guest
Their email address and the cause they chose, held against your account. That is what is needed to send the reminder and to pass the Gesture to the Partner.
